Manama, The Ministry of Works has announced that over 90% of the Janabiyah Road development project has been completed. Shaikh Mishaal bin Mohammad Al Khalifa, Works Ministry Undersecretary, emphasised the ministry's commitment to expediting work to complete the project within the scheduled timeframe. During an inspection visit, the Works Ministry Undersecretary highlighted that the project is part of the third phase of the Salman City access points development programme and the surrounding road network upgrade. The project will expand the road to three lanes in each direction over approximately 4 kilometres and improve intersections to accommodate 10,500 vehicles per hour. The project also includes relocating and protecting utilities along the road, reconstructing its infrastructure, installing a rainwater drainage network, creating service roads and parking spaces where possible, and enhancing safety measures with traffic barriers, signs, and some beautification works.
