Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa discussed, during a phone call today, with Spain's Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, ways to advance the efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The two sides also touched on strengthening relief efforts, bringing aid through the land crossings into the Gaza Strip, and dissuading the Israeli entity from a ground military invasion of Rafah, south of the Strip. During the call, the Palestinian Prime Minister called on the European Union to formulate a clear and frank position regarding the plans of the Israeli entity and its targeting of the Palestinian people. He also voiced appreciation to Spain's recognition of the State of Palestine, noting the importance of continuing joint work to obtain more recognition from European countries.
