Manama, Bahrain's Parliamentary Division delegation, led by Lina Habib Qassim, Shura Council Member and including MP Hassan Ibrahim Hassan, will participate in the 16th Workshop for Parliamentary Experts and Members of Parliament at Ruxton College, University of Hull, UK. The workshop is jointly organised by the Inter Parliamentary Union and the Centre for Legislative Studies at the University of Hull on July 27-28. Participants in the workshop will speak about their experiences and challenges in legislation, in addition to discussing academic research and studies on parliamentary affairs. This year's workshop will focus on Artificial intelligence (AI) and its role in parliaments and enhancing strategic integration in parliamentary activities. This is in addition to discussing the structure of draft laws and the role of parliaments in improving the quality of legislation, the scope and limits of parliamentary diplomacy and its impact on various aspects, and a number of related topics.
