Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion focused on bilateral cooperation and strategies to enhance it, alongside the latest regional developments, particularly concerning the Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's strong condemnation of the Israeli attack on Iranian territory, labeling it a severe violation of Iran's sovereignty and security and a clear breach of international law principles.
His Excellency also expressed Qatar's concern about the escalation, highlighting the threat it poses to regional security and stability. This escalation undermines diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving conflicts through dialogue and peaceful measures. His Excellency emphasized the necessity for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations to promptly address and halt Israeli violations.
