Doha: The State of Qatar participated, with a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) and a number of other concerned parties, in the 76th National Association of Foreign Student Advisors (NAFSA) Conference in Louisiana, the United States of America. The State of Qatar was represented in this conference by twelve institutions, including nine universities. This participation is a testament to the MOEHE's continuous support to all institutions of the higher education system in the country as they strive to attract global talent through international university exhibitions. The participation aims to attract international students to enroll in national and private universities in the country. It also aims to highlight the efforts made in the international higher education sector under the "Learn in Qatar" project, as this opportunity allows universities and educational institutions to exchange experiences and develop agreements with international institutions. The 2024 annual NAF SA Conference and Exhibition, titled 'Resilience, Renewal, Community,' brought together more than 9,500 international education professionals. The conference included more than 250 programs, including educational sessions, networking opportunities, and special events. It also included the NAFSA International Education Exhibition, which featured over 350 exhibitors representing nearly 50 countries. Source: Qatar News Agency
