The State of Qatar and Uzbekistan affirmed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between both countries' civil aviation authorities, improving economic and trade exchange opportunities, and streamlining the flow of passengers and goods between Doha and Tashkent. This came during a meeting between Acting President of the General Civil Aviation Authority Mohamed Faleh Al Hajri and Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Uzbekistan, Nazarov Taxir. During the meeting, the two parties stressed the need and importance of continuous coordination to achieve all common goals. On Sunday, Qatar Airways launched its first direct flight to Uzbekistans capital city of Tashkent. Source: Qatar News Agency
