Al-Raya said that State of Qatar has established the principle of solidarity and multilateral international cooperation as a fundamental aspect of its foreign policy, believing that addressing complex issues and international dilemmas requires standing united to implement both immediate and long-term interventions that support the resilience of nations and communities in the face of developmental challenges. The newspaper concluded by pointing out that Qatar is one of the largest donor countries supporting least developed nations and has succeeded in effecting change in fragile an d marginalized communities worldwide. In this regard, Qatar has a strong presence in global decision-making and is keen on actively participating in all events and meetings organized on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly to enhance Qatari-UN cooperation for the benefit of humanity, particularly in urgent issues like health, education, climate, mediation, and developmental efforts. In its editorial, Al-Watan said that all eyes will be on the important speech of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani during the opening of the general debate of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. This speech will convey many significant messages, especially regarding the Palestinian issue, which will take precedence due to the brutal Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, Qatar's steadfast solidarity and support for the Palestinian people, and its ongoing efforts to achieve a complete ceasefire that puts an end to this horrific humanitarian disaster, the newspaper added.
