Doha: Qatar Foundation (QF) announced the launch of the new edition of Mukhayamna summer camp, which is organized by QF's Pre-University Education from 5 July to 11 August 2025. The annual summer camp will provide students from schools across Qatar with opportunities to learn, explore, create, and have fun beyond the traditional classroom setting.
According to Qatar News Agency, the camp at Education City will enable young learners to develop skills in sports, computing, business, and leadership through a variety of activities and experiences. This year's edition will also introduce a new program called Kafo, hosted at QF Qatar Academy Al Wakra, focusing on life skills, sports, and leadership development, anchored in nurturing Islamic values and positive behaviors.
The camp's schedule includes a Leadership Camp for boys from 5-10 July and for girls from 20-24 July, a Sports Camp for both genders from 6-17 July, a Quantum Computing Camp from 6-10 July, and a Cybersecurity Camp from 13-17 July. The Kafo Summer Program will run for boys from 5-21 July and for girls from 6-22 July.
Mukhayamna's sports camp will feature activities such as padel, swimming, and spinning, promoting physical fitness and teamwork through friendly competition. The quantum computing and cybersecurity programs will provide foundational knowledge and hands-on technology exposure to solve real-world challenges.
The business camp will introduce students to entrepreneurship and financial literacy, encouraging teamwork to tackle business challenges and pitch ideas. The skills camp will emphasize sustainability and environmental awareness with practical workshops on recycling, waste reduction, and eco-friendly projects while cultivating communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
In 2024, the seven-week Mukhayamna camp expanded to include nearly 600 students from schools within and beyond QF.
