Khartoum: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index witnessed a decline on Tuesday, as it closed at 10,622.63 points, marking a decrease of 19.27 points or 0.18 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 239,106,243 shares exchanged hands in 28,642 transactions across all sectors, with a total value of QR 511,024,589.740. The session reflected a mix of performances among listed companies, with shares of 20 companies advancing, 27 experiencing declines, and six remaining unchanged.

The market capitalization at the close of the session stood at QR 632,957,093,255.564, showing a decrease from the previous session's figure of QR 634,064,952,399.766. The fluctuations in the market capitalization indicate the dynamic nature of the stock market and investor sentiment.
