QSE Index Opens Higher as All Sectors Gain

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened higher on Sunday, with the general index rising by 119.05 points, or 1.16%, to reach 10,380 points, compared to the previous session's close.

According to Qatar News Agency, the upward movement was driven by gains in all sectors: Telecoms increased by 3.02%, Transportation saw a rise of 2.06%, Real Estate went up by 1.96%, Insurance by 0.88%, Consumer Goods and Services recorded an uptick of 0.85%, Industrials increased by 0.82%, and Banks and Financial Services saw a growth of 0.78%.

At 10:00 am, a total of 63,576 million shares had been traded in 3,730 transactions, with a value of QR 105,135 million.
