Doha: September 18 - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 22.83 points, or 0.22%, at the start of trading on Sunday, to reach the level of 10,486 points, compared to Thursday's closing. QSE index was supported by a rise in Real Estate by 0.87%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.35%; Industrials by 0.15%; Telecoms by 0.05%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Consumer Goods and Services by 0.18%; Transportation by 0.18%; and Insurance by 0.68%. By 10:00 am, 41.783 million shares were traded in 2,492 transactions valued QR 73.682 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
