Al Shahaniya SC signed on Tuesday Nasser Al Ahrak from Al Gharafa SC for one season. This comes as part of the club's endeavors to strengthen its ranks ahead of the Qatar Stars League (QSL) 2024-25 (Ooredoo Stars League). Al Shahaniya SC signed during the current summer transfers Dutch striker Pelle van Amersfoort of Heerenveen, as well as defender Sven van Beek of the same club. The club also renewed its contracts with Al Hassan Koroma, Francesco Antonucci and Marc Martinez, in addition to announcing that coach Alvaro Mejia will continue to lead the team in the new season.
