Saudi Arabia also recorded a 46% year-over-year increase in its travel account surplus, reaching SAR 24 billion. This reflects Saudi Arabia's success in tourism, having been ranked first globally in 2023 for international tourist and revenue growth. The data confirmed the effective efforts made by the Saudi tourism system to achieve global leadership through the application of best practices and government cooperation, contributing significantly to the growth of the national economy.
