Nablus-Ma'an- The Solidarity Charitable Society reported that the Orphans Department in the Society has begun disbursing monthly individual sponsorships to a group of orphans for the months of 4-6/2024 AD, in the amount of 164,844 Jordanian dinars. This disbursement is provided by charitable people in Nablus Governorate and several other governorates, as well as generous Palestinians outside the homeland. The disbursement was implemented after the Orphans Department and the Finance Department completed the necessary reports for this. The number of orphans benefiting from this disbursement reached 1,541 orphans, and the number of beneficiary families reached 893 families. Dr. Maqbool pointed out that this disbursement is implemented every three months for orphans, through what the Orphans Department of the Solidarity Charitable Society provides of periodic reports on the conditions of orphans and their breadwinners, studying everything related to them, mentioning their needs, and providing a detailed explan ation of the housing conditions, debts, income, home furnishings, and the orphan's educational status, in addition to the child's health condition and the condition of the breadwinner. The association's president added that the disbursement was implemented to enable the orphans' breadwinners to relieve the financial distress they and their orphans are experiencing in light of the economic situation the Palestinian people are going through, to ease the burdens of their breadwinners and enable them to buy what they need. The administrative body, the orphans and their families expressed their deepest thanks and gratitude to all the individuals, institutions and groups who support the programs and activities of the humanitarian association, including sponsorships for orphans and assistance, whether financial or in-kind, asking God Almighty to make it a part of their good deeds.
