Manama, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, chaired a meeting to discuss preparations for the upcoming rainfall period. Attendees included Deputy Governor Brigadier Hamad Mohammed Al Khayyat, Mohammed Saad Al Sahli, the Capital Municipality Director General, and other officials. The governor emphasised the importance of ongoing collaboration with government agencies to meet community needs, following the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He highlighted the need for coordination to implement measures for rainwater management, ensuring readiness in residential and main roads. The meeting also reviewed the Ministry of Works' plans for infrastructure improvements and rainwater drainage systems.
