Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, attended the opening of the second forum for people with special needs. The forum is organised by Ahlia University under the theme "Integrating Students with Special Needs into Higher Education." Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, members of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives, as well as professors, researchers, executives, and members of Ahlia University, attended the event. The forum focused on three key topics: scientific projects and successful experiences in integrating people with special needs into the educational process, preparing teachers and administrators to support students with special needs, and policies for integrating students with special needs into institutes and universities.
