Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam congratulated Sameer Abdulla Nass, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman on the anniversary of establishing the chamber.
Al Musallam praised BCCI's role in supporting the national economy and strengthening the Kingdom's economic position on the regional and global map.
He stressed the importance of the economic, commercial, and business communities in supporting the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and followed up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Speaker referred to BCCI's efforts and initiatives that contributed to the development of the private sector.
He noted that the chamber has provided many job opportunities for Bahraini youth, and supported development projects in Bahrain that keep pace with Bahrain Vision 2030.
Al Musallam expressed the Representatives' Council's keenness to boost cooperation with the private sector and to upgrade the economic legislative framework to achieve common national goals.
He wished the BCCI chairman and members further success in continuing work and achievement for the good and interest of Bahrain.
