Rabat, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met with Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, during the official parliamentary visit to Morocco. The meeting discussed the historical Bahraini-Moroccan relations and means to enhance cooperation in various sectors. They emphasised the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in enhancing cooperation. The two sides commended the advanced relations between the two countries and the joint coordination and integration represented in international forums, under the leadership of the two countries. Al Musallam emphasised Bahrain's firm position in supporting Morocco and its Autonomy Initiative in the Moroccan Sahara, based on Moroccan territorial sovereignty and unity.
