Ramallah - Ma'an - The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, received today, Monday, in his office in Ramallah, the Head of the Environmental Quality Authority, Dr. Nisreen Al Tamimi. During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the areas of environmental control and combating waste smuggling that harms the Palestinian environment were discussed. In this context, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, including exchanging information and experiences, coordinating procedures and technical controls, and developing coordination and cooperation mechanisms.
