Ramallah - Ma'an - The Minister of Transport and Communications, Eng. Tariq Zourob with the Qatari Minister of Transport, Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, on the sidelines of the Future of Aviation Conference, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Minister Zourab conveyed the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Mustafa to the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The two parties stressed the depth of the bilateral relationship between the two countries and the role of the State of Qatar in standing by the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause in all state and Arab forums. Minister Zorob explained the reality of the difficulties and challenges faced by our Palestinian people in general in the city of Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the great destruction caused to the transportation sector in the southern and northern governorates and the siege of the city of Jerusalem through the systematic practices of the occupation and its settlers against the Palestinian people and their property. The Qatari Minister of Transport affirmed that the State of Qatar has been and will remain alongside the Palestinian people and is fully prepared to provide all support to the State of Palestine and assist in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip after the end of the war. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Riyadh, Bassam Al-Agha and M. Mahmoud Khaled, head of the Civil Aviation Authority. Source: Maan News Agency
