Tunis, His Excellency Kais Saied, the President of the Republic of Tunisia, received Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Foreign Affairs Minister has visited Tunisia as part of a tour that covered several Arab countries. The president relayed his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, and his wishes to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further success and prosperity. President Saied emphasised the significance of hosting the 33rd Arab Summit in Bahrain under the presidency of His Majesty the King, in light of the current developments in the Arab world. He wished the summit success in bolstering Arab cooperation. The President lauded the strength of the long-standing ties between Bahrain and Tunisia. Dr. Al Zayani conveyed to the president the greetings and good wishes of HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as their wishes for s ecurity, stability, and prosperity to the Tunisian people, praising the depth of the relations between the two countries and the two peoples. The minister briefed President Saied on the ongoing preparations for the 33rd Arab Summit to be hosted by Bahrain on May 16.
