The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that in the past 24 hours, its forces successfully destroyed two anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) launchers in a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen. It was determined the launchers presented an imminent threat to US and coalition forces and to merchant vessels transiting the region, CENTCOM said in a press release. US forces will continue to take actions that protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for vessels in the Red Sea region, it added. Source: Qatar News Agency
