Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, emphasised that Bahraini youth receive substantial support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with continued attention from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This support has created numerous opportunities for youth to excel and be creative, empowering them across various fields. The Youth Minister highlighted the strong momentum the youth sector has experienced under the leadership of His Majesty, enabling Bahraini youth to play significant roles in the kingdom's development. The Minister pointed out the government's clear framework to foster a promising generation of youth, rooted in their national identity and capable of shaping the future. She acknowledged His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), belief in the potential of Bahr aini youth, noting that investing in youth is a guaranteed investment. The faith and hope of the youth can elevate the kingdom's future and bring pride to the nation. On the occasion of Arab Youth Day, celebrated annually on 5 July, the Minister remarked that this day is an opportunity to recognise the vital role of Bahraini youth in community development and sectoral advancement. It celebrates youth capabilities and acknowledges their priorities, recognising them as essential leaders and partners whose achievements enhance their status and build confidence in their maturity, contributing to future development policies. She added that the Ministry is committed to developing and training youth through various programmes and initiatives designed to empower and prepare them for the future, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and creativity. The Minister also commended collaborative Arab efforts in the youth sector, stating that significant efforts are being made by youth ministries in fellow A rab countries through joint initiatives and programmes that benefit Arab youth and activate their national role in building their countries' futures.
