Doha: Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) reported on Monday that it had thwarted a planned bombing attack in the city of Kerch, located in the Crimea region.
According to Qatar News Agency, a Moldovan national was plotting a "terrorist bombing" targeting a water pumping station in Kerch. He is also accused of transmitting sensitive information to Kyiv, including details on the deployment of Russian military equipment, locations of air defense systems, the outcomes of Ukrainian missile strikes, and information on transport and energy infrastructure facilities in Crimea.
This incident follows a previous FSB announcement on March 20, in which the agency said it had prevented a bombing attempt in the city of Mariupol, located in the Donetsk region.
